🗽 Inside the White House: Tracking Shifts in U.S. Trade Policy

On July 31, 2025, President Trump enacted a new amendment titled: “AMENDMENT TO DUTIES TO ADDRESS THE FLOW OF ILLICIT DRUGS ACROSS OUR NORTHERN BORDER.”

This executive action modifies key trade and enforcement measures through changes to the International Economic Emergency Powers (IEEP) and revisions to Section 604 and Section 301 tariffs.
